Chris is in his second year running a College Pro Painters franchise after having a really successful rookie year. Among the reasons he’s back, he really enjoys the flexibility of making his own schedule that comes with running a business. Along 
with that, he likes that he manages his free time as well. He says that running your own business takes a lot of work and determination, but seeing the outcome of your efforts ultimately makes it worthwhile. Chris thinks the best part of his role as a College Pro Painters franchise owner is being able to hire and shape crews, as well as managing people. In the process of leading his team, he has also learned how challenging time management can be – he says he tends to waste time where he isn’t needed. Chris likes the environment of his job because every day provides new scenery – there is no boring office environment, he is always on the go, and is always meeting new people. While working with College Pro Painters, Chris has seriously increased his leadership, financial, and managerial skills. On the topic of entrepreneurship, Chris says: “People don’t realize how much effort running your own business takes – it is a lot of work. However, it is worthwhile and is a lot of fun, and in the end it is all worth it.”
